The Office of Career & Professional Development (OCPD) at the University of Wisconsin Law School is seeking an energetic, collaborative, and service-oriented professional to join our career advising team. OCPD provides a diverse study body with individualized career counseling, programming related to job search skills and resources, networking opportunities, and various recruitment programs.

Qualificações

Multiple years' relevant post-JD experience.
Proficiency with technology and presentation tools.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Commitment to providing students with support in an inclusive environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing demands and time effectively.
Understanding of legal hiring processes and/or law student professional development.

Responsabilidades

Career counseling and advising for J.D. students on self-assessment, career planning, and resume/letter reviews.
Develop and execute career programming, events, and networking opportunities with various partners.
Serve as the primary contact for judicial clerkship advising and assist with alumni career advising.
Track and report summer and post-graduate employment data for internal and external reporting.
Perform other duties as assigned.
