Job summary

Boston College is seeking an Assistant/Associate Director, Alumni Class & School Engagement to plan, coordinate, and implement student, alumni and school-based engagement programs, with a focus on GOLD class engagement and leadership councils.

The role partners with the Senior Associate Director and Advancement Communications to grow GOLD alumni participation, develop budgets, and supervise volunteers across reunion activities and class events in multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 1–3 years alumni relations or related events experience.
• Associate Director requires 3–5 years in advancement or higher education.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication; able to manage budgets and events.

Responsibilities

• Manage Reunion Engagement Committees (5th, 10th, 15th) and Student Alumni Association.
• Co-lead GOLD Leadership Council and align with Annual Giving Programs.
• Recruit, train and manage student and alumni volunteers for class events.
• Plan events across markets with GOLD/young alumni and coordinate class activities.
• Develop operating plans and budgets and ensure cost-effective programs.
