Job summary

Northeastern University is seeking an Assistant Director for Leadership Recognition & Engagement on the Boston campus to cultivate relationships with distinguished alumni and student honorees. The role leads strategic engagement initiatives, coordinates events, and analyzes data to inform ongoing strategies, while representing the university with professionalism and a customer-service mindset.

Evening and weekend work may be required for events, with occasional local and regional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years in alumni relations, student affairs, fundraising, or event management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong coordination, organization and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage leadership relationships with honorees and alumni.
• Plan and execute events and recognition programs (Huntington 100, Laurel & Scroll 100, etc.).
• Track participation and report on engagement metrics.
• Handle administrative tasks and support university advancement activities.
