Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced leader to serve as Assistant Area Cross Sector Manager in Minnesota. You will oversee development, coordination, and improvement of technical competencies for a portion of area cross sector staff to meet client needs and market drivers.

Responsibilities include leading business class alignment, reviewing proposals and fees, guiding staffing decisions, and promoting a culture of quality, professional development and integrity across cross sector teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in planning, sciences, architecture, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in related field.
• Experience leading diverse cross-sector teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, align and collaborate on business class, marketing, management and company operations
• Review proposals and fee estimates; make recommendations to cross sector, business group and area management
• Lead project reviews; actively participate in financial reviews
• Assess staffing and salary requests; make recommendations to cross sector, business group and area management
• Champion a quality culture within cross sector teams
• Advocate for professional development of staff and development of best practices, technical policies and procedures, papers and presentations, Professional Associates credentialing, recognition of technical achievement, practice group activities, and automation tools
• Act as role model of our values and code of conduct, as well as professional/ ethical/business standards expected by specific clients and required by licensing/ credentialing entities
• Deliver projects in your professional discipline

• Perform other duties as needed
