Job summary

The Jewish Community Center is seeking an Assistant Aquatics Manager to oversee indoor and seasonal outdoor pool operations, staff supervision, and program management. You will help coordinate swim lessons, lifeguard training, and special events while ensuring safety and compliance.

Requirements include 3–5 years of supervisory experience, high school diploma, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, staffing schedulers, and CRM platforms. Full-time, on-site role with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• High school graduate is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient with staffing schedulers (When2Work, ADP).
• Experience with CRM platforms (Daxko Operations, Salesforce).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, staffing, and evaluating aquatic programs for indoor and outdoor pools.
• Oversee summer outdoor pool operations including safety and staffing.
• Recruit and supervise lifeguards and swim instructors; provide onboarding.
• Ensure daily indoor/outdoor operations, water quality, safety inspections, and maintenance.
• Respond to inquiries, enforce pool rules, and document incidents.
• Assist with budgeting, expenses, and reporting for programs and events.
• Participate in agency events and perform other duties as assigned.
