Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of aquatics supervision experience.
• CPR/AED certified for professional rescuer.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license or ability to obtain within six months.
• WSI or comparable certification required.
• Swim instruction experience required.
• Ability to certify CPR and lifeguards preferred.
• Water fitness instruction experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aspects of the Aquatics Department including operations of indoor pool, outdoor waterpark and swim programs.
• Plan activities and schedules several months in advance; manage multiple projects.
• Recruit, supervise, train, schedule and evaluate swim instructors.
• Maintain pool facilities to health standards and ensure cleanliness.
• Communicate policies and promote programs to families; coordinate marketing materials.
• Plan annual department budget and manage expenditures; order equipment as needed.
