Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Aquatics Manager to support supervision of indoor and seasonal outdoor pools, swim programs, and staff under the Aquatics Director. You will help ensure safety, quality programming, and excellent service for pool patrons.

The role involves coordinating staffing, training, and daily operations, with focus on lifeguard training, swim lessons, and special events, while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate – required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise aquatic staff and operations.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and evaluation of aquatic programs.
• Ensure safety and health regulations are followed across indoor/outdoor pools.
• Manage inventory and equipment for pools and facilities.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to patron inquiries.
