Job summary

Glenbrook High School District 225 is seeking Assistant Coaches for Glenbrook Aquatics. The assistant coach plays a crucial role in promoting good sportsmanship, swimmer retention, and overall program success, working under the guidance of the Head Age Group Coach and Head Coach.

This part-time, non-benefits eligible position requires CPR/First Aid and USA Coaching certification within 1 month of hire, plus experience in competitive swimming and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire.
• USA Coaching certification or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire.
• Background in competitive swimming, with coaching experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of current diving techniques, rules, and training methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Promote good sportsmanship and swimmer retention.
• Support the Head Age Group Coach and Head Coach.
• Assist in program development and competition preparation.
