Job summary

Assistant Aquatics Competitive Coach needed for the Ogden High/Ben Lomond High Pools year-round swimming lessons program. This part-time role requires coaching across levels, safety compliance, and strong customer service for athletes and parents.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma, one year of related experience, and current safety certifications. USA Swimming/USA Water Polo membership or willingness to obtain is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• USA Swimming and/or USA Water Polo membership (as applicable) or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Coaches must be registered with the appropriate national governing body before working with athletes.
• Current CPR, AED, and water safety certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Instructs various levels.
• Provides a structured format for progression at appropriate levels.
• Responsible for preparation and set-up/tear-down of equipment.
• Provides quality customer service and answers questions from participants/parents.
• Ensures safety measures are observed and reports issues to the supervisor.
• Communicates and enforces department rules and procedures.
