Job summary

Kalitta Air seeks an Assistant Maintenance Manager at ORD Station to oversee maintenance activities and contract staff under the Station Manager and Regional Outstation Maintenance Manager. The role requires coordinating with planning, maintenance control, and department heads to ensure aircraft are serviced on schedule and in compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience maintaining the same category and class of airplanes operated by Kalitta Air.
• Must be certificated under 14 CFR Part 65.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outstation maintenance activities under Station Manager guidance.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel and contractors for timely aircraft service.
• Ensure adherence to safety, policies and procedures per GMM.
• Plan manpower and supervise contract maintenance staff and station leads.
• Manage budget and analyze expenses for maintenance operations.
• Ensure access to current manuals and proper documentation for staff.
