Job summary

Kalitta Air LLC is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager for the ORD Station in Chicago, IL. The role reports to the Station Manager and Regional Outstation Maintenance Manager and leads maintenance operations, compliance, and budget management for the station.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience with Kalitta Air aircraft types, CFR Part 65 certification, and strong organizational skills with computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience maintaining the same category and class of airplanes operated by Kalitta Air
• Must be certificated under 14 CFR Part 65
• Organized and able to work with computers and programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and contract maintenance under guidance of Station Manager and Regional Outstation Maintenance Manager
• Manage administrative requirements, training, work performance, and policy compliance
• Coordinate with management to ensure completion of maintenance and repairs of company aircraft
• Schedule manpower with Planning Department and Maintenance Control
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and available
• Analyze expenses and manage department budget
