Job summary

Tradewater Health & Rehabilitation Center, a Concord Health Systems facility, is seeking an Assistant Administrator–Administrator-in-Training to gain hands-on leadership experience in a skilled nursing setting and pursue Kentucky licensure.

You will join the facility leadership team, support census management, regulatory readiness, and budget processes while overseeing social services and admissions as you grow toward licensure within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Commitment to obtaining Kentucky Long-Term Care Administrator licensure within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Facility Administrator in daily operations.
• Participate in leadership and department head meetings.
• Assist with employee relations, recruitment, retention, and staff engagement.
• Support regulatory compliance and survey readiness efforts.
• Participate in budget development and financial management processes.
• Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with nursing, dietary, housekeeping, maintenance, admissions, social services, and business office departments.
• Lead special projects focused on operational excellence.
• Develop knowledge of state and federal long-Term care regulations.
• Assume increasing leadership responsibilities throughout the program.
• Own the Social Services and Admissions processes.
