Job Title: Assistant Administrator - eProcurement Specialist
Examples of Duties
Description

Under general direction, performs major daily and project/program-based administrative duties. Recommends and administers divisional/departmental policies and procedures. Prepares regular and special reports related to divisional/departmental operations. Performs other job-related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business/Public Relations or a closely related field from a four-year accredited college or university is required.
  • Two years of full-time paid experience in government or private industry office administration is required. (Substitution: Two years of full-time experience may substitute for each year of college education lacking.)
  • Must be able to operate a personal computer with Microsoft Office Suites.
Additional Duties
  • Performs routine distribution and upgrades application.
  • Answers all calls and emails received on the Vendor Self Service (VSS) helpline and/or email.
  • Attempts to resolve issues with VSS from internal and external customers.
  • Performs troubleshooting of IT-related problems identified by end users.
  • Escalates unresolved issues to the appropriate group per operating procedures.
  • Logs, troubleshoots, and tracks problems to a successful conclusion.
  • Develops and maintains documentation for both internal and external customers.
  • Performs basic security tasks such as password resets, account creation, and account termination.
  • Produces monthly reports of work status, identifies, and drives resolution of chronic issues.
  • Performs other job-related duties as required.
