Job summary

Open Bank is seeking an Assistant Accounting Officer to help manage day-to-day general accounting activities and keep the accounting system up-to-date in line with GAAP. You will prepare financial reports for management, auditors, and regulators, while supporting the accounting department in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves balancing and reconciling general ledger accounts, maintaining cash balances in Due from Banks, and contributing to reports such as balance sheets, income

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience in bank accounting preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel.

We are looking for Assistant Accounting Officer to join our team. The Assistant Accounting Officer will be assisting with managing day-to-day operation of general accounting related activities, maintain accounting system up-to-date in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and prepare financial reports to management, auditors and regulatory agencies.
