Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and manage daily accounting operations, workload distribution, cross-training, and interdepartmental communications.
• Own the close process, review journal entries and reconciliations, manage inventory accounting, and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Analyze budget vs. actual variances, evaluate gross margins, maintain KPI dashboards, and build models for budgeting and ad hoc decisions.
• Maintain accounting policies, strengthen internal controls, and automate manual ERP and Excel workflows to improve efficiency.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors, assist outside CPAs with tax filings, and oversee regulatory compliance (sales tax, 1099s).
