Role: Assistant Account Executive

The Assistant Account Executive (AAE) is an entry-level role supporting the Public Relations team with daily administrative tasks and assisting in the planning, development, and execution of PR activities. The AAE reports to an Account Director and works under senior team members to learn agency processes, apply new knowledge, and support multiple projects. Ideal candidates are creative, solutions-oriented, excellent communicators, and eager to develop media and influencer relations skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The role is full-time, based in [MullenLowe Office Location], and does not involve managing direct reports.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain client contact, supporting multiple accounts
  • Attend and document client meetings
  • Prepare status reports, call summaries, and action plans
  • Manage client trackers, media reports, and presentations
  • Share industry news updates
  • Conduct media relations activities, including media list development, press material distribution, and maintaining press contacts
  • Support influencer and social media initiatives
  • Assist with event planning and support
  • Contribute to client planning and new business presentations
  • Handle client billing processes
Qualifications
  • Experience: Relevant internship, coursework, or a strong desire to start a career in PR
  • Soft Skills: Strong storytelling, administrative, time management, and organizational skills; creative thinking; adaptability; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong writing abilities
Additional Information

The salary range is $45,000—$55,000 USD, depending on experience, market conditions, and other factors.
