Job summary

The role includes one-on-one counseling, group briefings, and coordination with commanders and staff to deliver resources within DoD guidelines. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
• If required by contract, bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Be able to obtain a Tier 2 investigation.
• Must pass OCI process.
• One of AFC, CFP, or ChFC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and families.
• Assist service members in establishing spending plans for extended absences.
• Develop and provide informational financial materials.
• Coordinate, publicize and provide financial management classes/workshops.
• Respond to requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars.
• Utilize virtual counseling and secure communications as needed.
• Manage duty to warn situations per DoD protocol.
• Communicate with leadership and participate in supervision.
• Participate in training, QA committees, and contract activities.
• All other duties as assigned.
