Your Impact
As a Product Manager for Portfolio Servicing platforms, you will shape and implement products and platforms to scale GSAM's growth. You will lead strategy and execution for Portfolio Servicing tooling and functionality, partnering with stakeholders across Service, Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Investing teams to understand their core business challenges and design industry-leading servicing experiences. You will prioritize development backlogs and collaborate within an agile team to deliver value.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential as a Product Manager

1. Define strategic directions by building consensus among stakeholders and working with engineers and designers to deliver excellent user experiences.
2. Engage with users and stakeholders to validate opportunities and understand business objectives.
3. Prioritize product backlog based on stakeholder feedback, market research, and user insights, balancing new features, platform investments, and optimizations.
4. Analyze metrics and user feedback to inform product strategy.
5. Develop user stories and acceptance criteria collaboratively with SMEs, engineers, and designers.
6. Build collaborative relationships with business, engineering, and design teams to foster transparency and problem-solving.
7. Identify and escalate risks and dependencies.
8. Lead training and rollout activities, ensuring adoption and gathering feedback.
9. Stay updated on industry trends to identify new opportunities.

Basic Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Product Management experience in financial services technologies.
• Understanding of Alternative investments, retail and institutional SMAs, and client journeys.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience across all development lifecycle stages, leveraging agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in collaborating with technical teams and translating technical concepts.
• Experience in designing customer experiences and managing product roadmaps.
• Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering solutions on schedule and budget.
• Strategic thinking, facilitation skills, and innovative problem-solving abilities.
