YOUR IMPACT


As an Onboarding Product Manager, you will be responsible for helping re-invent and modernize how wealth management onboards new clients in an efficient, digital manner. You will join a team of creative and driven product managers to help build digital solutions to allow for seamless client onboarding, providing best in class client experience while gathering the data and information required for clients to open and maintain accounts. You are passionate about intuitive and user-centric designed products and enhancing the client and advisor experience. You are comfortable writing requirements, managing project execution, and performing testing for the features you bring to market.

Private Wealth Management (PWM)


Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. As client needs evolve, this close relationship allows the team to offer complementary services and new opportunities by leveraging the resources of Goldman Sachs and beyond.


HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL



  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the PWM business goals, processes, and players, and collaborate closely with them to drive product requirements and success

  • Support and develop product strategy and roadmap with our team, customers, and partners

  • Assist in the execution of the product roadmap by writing user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria for engineering development


  • Partner with colleagues in engineering, design, operations, and program management to allow for seamless execution

  • Solicit stakeholder input and coordinate amongst multiple groups to inform requirements, including Business, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Engineering

  • Monitor competitive best practices and analyze end-user feedback - identifying and developing solutions when necessary

  • Engage with partner vendors to ensure they address product needs

  • Leverage analytics and data to inform the product roadmap

  • Influence the direction of the product roadmap through deep analytic perspectives

  • Parse larger product feature projects into smaller components while understanding dependencies

  • Document and communicate operational workflows

  • Translate complex requirements into clear and actionable next steps for impacted groups

  • Understand, document, and improve existing processes to maximize efficiency in constantly evolving environments

  • Participate in ideation activities, product feasibility assessments, business case preparation, and overall product definition (feature lists and prioritization)

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities, and build strong relationships with them

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR



  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • 1-5 years of work experience in product/project management, financial services, or other related field

  • Experience in an agile product development environment and/or wealth management ideal but not required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead calls and trainings

  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize differing requirements

  • Strong attention to detail; strong logical and analytical thinker

  • High degree of personal accountability and teamwork, going above and beyond to ensure that products are delivered on time and of quality

  • Aptitude for logically breaking down complex problems and processes, documenting workflows and edge cases, and communicating solutions with clarity

  • Commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity

  • Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative and ownership of projects, identifying potential risks and issues, and proposing solutions

  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

  • Ability to balance quality work while meeting short deadlines
