Mission

Ensure specialised technical support for the development, improvement, and maintenance of Saipem's fleet and related equipment and systems.

Tasks

1. Cooperate with internal functions to identify technical needs for vessels, land rigs, equipment upgrades, or new builds.
2. Provide technical support for fleet upgrades and maintenance.
3. Develop feasibility studies and conceptual designs to meet client requirements, defining execution plans to develop new capabilities and innovative solutions.
4. Implement maintenance programs, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure quality standards are met.
5. Update certification data for machines and equipment, ensuring validity and traceability.
6. Identify materials/services needed for projects and monitor procurement processes.
7. Supervise maintenance activities to ensure equipment efficiency.
8. Provide technical support for project implementation and troubleshooting within budgets.
9. Maintain fleet equipment database accuracy.
10. Support tendering activities with technical expertise.
11. Coordinate installation and commissioning of equipment, complying with class rules (e.g., DNV, ABS).
12. Notify spare part requirements and plan actions for asset preservation.
13. Manage obsolete equipment disposal and intercompany sales.
14. Implement corrective actions based on safety alerts and failure reports.
15. Prepare operating procedures and best practice documentation.
