Job description

Blur is seeking a Technical Assistant to work closely with the Head of Assets and Asset Coordinator to help manage the technical demands of the department.

Responsibilities:

• Publishing models, grooms, and textures/shaders into the pipeline.
• Troubleshooting asset-related technical issues and responding to requests from other departments (e.g., managing Kickback tickets, etc).
• Ability to adjust models or shaders upon request.
• Creating review materials, client deliveries, templates, and turntables.
• Supporting the team with publishing tasks and resolving technical issues in the pipeline.
• Reports to the Head of Assets at the end of each day.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Maya and Houdini is required; shading knowledge (especially in Arnold) is a significant plus.
• Being proactive and solution-oriented.
• US time zone availability required

Compensation ranges from $40-$45/hr USD
