Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) seeks an Engineer I / II / III / Senior to support system and program assets through condition monitoring, preventive maintenance, and engineering evaluations. This role ensures safe, reliable plant operations by addressing emergent issues and guiding asset health strategies.

The candidate will analyze equipment health, review design packages, and collaborate with plant teams on capital projects and reliability improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from ABET-accredited program.
Engineers I–Senior require increasing years of engineering experience as outlined.
Analytical skills for asset condition assessment and reliability improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead asset condition assessment programs for critical generation assets and HV infrastructure.
Develop and implement condition monitoring, inspection, testing, and maintenance strategies.
Provide engineering support for emergent plant issues, failures, and reliability challenges.
Analyze health data and trends to identify risks and develop corrective actions.
Review engineering service provider designs and recommend reliability improvements.
Coordinate with stakeholders to define scopes of work and ensure budget and schedule alignment.
