Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests at the front of store.
• Promote a physical security culture and maintain safe standards throughout the store.
• Respond to and document security incidents in a timely manner.
• Use de-escalation tactics and resources when responding to incidents.
• Perform merchandise receipt checks and assist with theft recovery per AP policies.
• Submit documentation in the case management system for all incidents.
• Operate Target's video surveillance system and follow AP procedures.
• Work safely and adhere to training, policies, and safety guidelines.
