Job summary

KnitWell Group is hiring an Asset Protection Specialist for the Lane Bryant office in New Albany, OH. You will support protection of our associates, products, and property, applying life-safety procedures and detailed reporting to internal teams.

Responsibilities include controlling access, monitoring CCTV and alarms, conducting audits, handling front desk duties, and responding to incidents with prompt first aid when needed.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience in Asset Protection / Loss Prevention or security preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills required; CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check associate ID badges to control facility access and log visitors.
• Monitor facilities CCTV, fire/burglar, and access control systems.
• Answer and transfer internal/external phone calls as part of Front Desk procedures.
• Conduct daily and monthly audits and facility inspections.
• Log inbound/outbound trailers and communicate directions to dock.
• Inspect trailers/containers for damage or tampering and perform C-TPAT 7-point inspections.
• Secure facility and truck gate during non-operational hours.
• Provide after-hour security service/surveillance to associates.
• Create incident/injury reports and apply first aid when needed.

This individual must maintain company and departmental policy and procedural expertise and ongoing action readiness for incidents related to life safety and Asset Protection within the organization and provides detailed reporting to various staff and support departments.The hours for this position are 1st Shift:Monday - Friday = 7 am – 3 pm(with some flexibility needed)The Impact You Can HaveChecks associate ID badges to control facility access and logs visitors/contractors. Greet, engage and assist associates, vendors and visitors upon registration.Maintains thorough knowledge of / and monitors facilities CCTV, fire/burglar, and access control systems.Answers and transfers internal/external phone calls as part of Front Desk procedures.Conducts daily (i.e. outbound/inbound audits, safety/security checklists, etc.) and monthly audits and facility inspections.Responsible for initiating internal/external investigations based off daily inspections findings and/or information received from other sources/information.Logs all inbound / outbound trailers and containers upon entry/exit of the trailer yard, entering each into yard management system, and making appropriate communications to partners on radio to direct trailers to a dock door or yard lot location.Inspects all trailers and containers for signs of damage or tampering and performs C-TPAT 7-point inspections on international outbound trailers and documenting any anomalies.Secures facility and truck gate during non-operational hours.Provides after-hour security service/surveillance (walk and/or monitor associates to their automobile, etc.) to associates in times of need.Responsible for creating incident/injury report and applying first aid in times of need.What You'll Bring to the RoleAt least 6 months experience in Asset Protection / Loss Prevention or security preferred.High School diploma or equivalent.Must be flexible to work any shift including weekends, and be on call 24/7, any day of the year.Self-motivated; must be able to work with little or no supervision during shift.Excellent organizational skills and effective written and verbal communication skillsFirst Aid, CPR, AED certification preferred (certification will be required during employment)Possess basic Microsoft skills (i.e., Office, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)Applicants to this position must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship.
