Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection professional to safeguard customers, employees and merchandise.

The role partners with the store Emergency Response Team to prepare for and respond to emergencies, while driving shrinkage reduction and protecting inventory accuracy. The position involves handling high-stakes investigations, leveraging video and RFID data, and collaborating with store leadership and law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Resolve theft by applying policy-based judgement in high shrinkage areas.
• Identify theft trends using reporting and surveillance data.
• Lead shrinkage reduction efforts and merchandise protection standards.
• Investigate internal theft with AP leadership and Investigation teams.
• Maintain store safety and respond to security incidents, including medical emergencies.
