Job summary

Gold Key PHR is seeking an attentive Loss Prevention/ Security Associate to protect guests, associates and assets. You will patrol hotel areas, respond to incidents, complete daily security reports and enforce property rules with professionalism.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, timely reporting, and collaboration with the Loss Prevention Supervisor to maintain a secure environment 24/7. Training provided; CPR/First Aid encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of loss prevention or related security experience.
• Valid driver’s license to operate security vehicle.
• CPR & First Aid certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and secure environment by patrolling the property to prevent losses.
• Patrol all hotel areas including parking lots and report on asset condition.
• Assist the MOD by responding to incidents (eviction, injury, misbehavior, property issues).
• Document concise security reports in a daily log (thefts, accidents, safety issues).
• Know disaster and emergency procedures; respond to alarms and notify authorities when needed.
• Maintain calls for service and ensure guests are cared for when staff are not on site.
• Provide the Loss Prevention Supervisor with nightly report details (incidents, lighting, assets).
• Maintain a professional demeanor and high level of guest service during stressful situations.
• Create work orders to address safety/standards issues for operations.
• Respond quickly and calmly to emergencies.
• Enforce rules for non-guests or solicitors per policy.
• Perform all other duties as assigned
