Job summary

Target is seeking an Assets Protection Specialist in Florida to help keep guests and team members safe while protecting store assets. This full-time role involves surveillance, documenting cases, and quickly responding to security incidents as part of a dynamic team.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring physical stamina, strong communication, and a flexible schedule that can include nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Using surveillance and intelligence-led tactics to keep team members and guests safe and secure while aiding in reducing shortage.
• Documenting cases accurately and following AP policies.
• Identify theft trends and report findings.
• Maintain safety culture and training throughout the building.
• Assist peers and support total store sales by ensuring product is in stock and available to guests.
