Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator to help maintain a safe store environment, support safety initiatives, and investigate incidents.

You will partner with store leadership and law enforcement, contributing to shrink reduction and operational excellence. Responsibilities include monitoring CCTV, supporting investigations, and training teams on asset prevention while coordinating with Asset Protection and Store Operations teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail or asset protection experience.
• A valid security license is required for this role in the listed locations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• A calm and professional approach to handling safety-related situations.
• Strong accountability, initiative, and confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and basic computer skills (preferred).
• Comfortable using surveillance, reporting and monitoring technologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and surveillance to identify suspicious activity.
• Support investigations by gathering data, conducting checks, and responding to alarms.
• Enforce safety and security procedures to promote a safe store environment.
• Execute shrink reduction strategies using RFID and reporting tools.
• Complete incident, investigation, and security metric reports.
• Assist training store teams and coordinate with management and local law enforcement.
