Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator to help maintain a safe retail environment for customers and staff. You will support safety initiatives, investigate incidents, and partner with store leadership to reduce shrink and promote operational excellence.

In this role you will monitor CCTV, assist investigations, enforce procedures, and collaborate with local law enforcement. A reliable, customer-focused approach and at least 1 year in asset protection are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail or asset protection experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and conduct surveillance to identify suspicious activity.
• Support investigations by gathering data and responding to alarms.
• Enforce safety and security procedures to promote a safe store environment.
• Execute shrink reduction strategies using RFID and other reporting tools.
• Complete accurate incident, investigation, and security metric reports.
• Assist in training store teams on asset prevention and connect with local law enforcement.
