Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is hiring an Asset Protection & Safety Manager to lead safety and loss-prevention programs across the Columbus store. You will coordinate with store leadership to ensure safe, friendly, and efficient operations while safeguarding assets.

The role involves monitoring store activities, investigating incidents, coaching staff, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory guidelines. Travel to nearby stores or trainings may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher OR High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years of relevant work experience (retail or Asset Protection).
• National certified training program (e.g., Wicklander-Zuwalski or Reed training) and professional accreditation (APQ, APC) are preferred.
• Experience supervising employees including coaching, mentoring, directing, training, performance management, and recognition.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality customer service while maintaining a clean, safe store.
• Monitor receiving, shipping, and selling patterns for the store.
• Champion initiatives and establish processes to improve safety, shrink, and security outcomes.
• Oversee programs to minimize loss and maintain a safe environment; respond to incidents as needed.
• Travel to meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores as required.
