Job summary

Gap Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator to drive safety and shortage reduction across our stores. You will investigate theft, analyze data, train teams, and work with law enforcement to protect people and products.

In this role you will implement tailored prevention strategies, perform security audits, support emergency response, and contribute to a culture of accountability and compliance across our family of brands.

Qualifications

• Strong investigative and analytical abilities to identify shrinkage and security gaps.
• Experience working with law enforcement and legal systems.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations into theft using surveillance, data analysis, and case management tools.
• Partner with store leadership to identify shortage risks and tailor prevention strategies.
• Train store teams on safety protocols and incident reporting systems.
• Collaborate with law enforcement to build and prosecute cases.
• Perform regular security audits for compliance with standards and policies.
• Support emergency preparedness for safety incidents or crises.
• Analyze incident trends and share insights with AP leadership.
• Represent AP in store-level meetings and promote safety culture.
