Catalyst Brands seeks an Asset Protection Manager to lead AP for an assigned unit, aligning with company policies to protect assets and drive profitability. The role emphasizes coaching, investigations, and strong collaboration with store and district leadership.

The position includes developing talent, partnering with law enforcement when needed, and implementing shrinkage reduction initiatives across the store. Located in New Jersey, the role reports to AP leadership within Catalyst Brands.

Responsibilities

• Lead Asset Protection activities for the assigned unit in accordance with company policies to drive sales and profits.
• Frequently conducts developmental conversations with direct reports and maintains notes of strengths and opportunities.
• Interviews, hires and trains Asset Protection talent for the store and ensures team follows directives and procedures.
• Walks the floor, coaches in the moment, and informs Store/District Leadership Teams of opportunities.
• Identifies potential acts of theft and fraud by observing activity, reviewing reports and referrals.
• Interviews associates suspected of theft or fraud and documents all stages.
• Maintains relationships with local law enforcement and mall security partners and coordinates on cases.
• Tailors Asset Protection direction to stores and educates teams on shrinkage reduction and safety.
• Audits departments for merchandise protection standards and identifies opportunities deviations.
