Job summary

You will lead by example, recruit and develop AP staff, and ensure proper handling of incidents using reporting tools and case management software. The position requires ownership mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Valid security license required for select locations
• Proven success in investigative and asset protection roles
• Experience with exception-based reporting and case management software
• Ability to build productive relationships with store leadership and employees
• Strong written and verbal communication skills under pressure
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced settings
• Excellent organizational and delegation capabilities
• Proficient with surveillance technologies and computer systems
• High ownership, accountability, and initiative
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead AP strategy execution within the store, aligning with division goals
• Develop relationships with Store Manager, Inventory, HR, and other leaders
• Own building security and safety education, and safety incident response
• Monitor reports and ensure AP incidents are properly documented
• Use data to identify theft risks and reduce shrink
• Execute shrink reduction plans and address dishonesty issues
• Hire and develop talent for investigations, audits, and AP controls
• Utilize reporting to identify risks and maximize profitability
