Meijer Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Manager to lead the AP team, drive shrink prevention, and support store safety with 200% accountability. You will oversee investigations and partner with leadership to implement deterrence and protect merchandise.

You will collaborate with store leadership, conduct safety audits, manage audits and compliance, and contribute to company-wide initiatives while maintaining professional standards in asset protection operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of retail experience.
• 1–2 years of investigative experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to think strategically and delegate tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Asset Protection team, including hiring, performance reviews, and scheduling.
• Investigate internal/external losses and criminal acts and coordinate deterrence strategies.
• Serve on the store Safety Committee and promote 200% safety accountability.
• Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure security systems and key controls are properly maintained.
• Review financial reports and partner with leadership on root causes.
• Attend store meetings and participate in training sessions.
