Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of 2 years of college.
• 1 year’s experience as a supervisor in a multi-department environment.
• 1 year’s experience in accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, personnel, or loss prevention/asset protection.
• 2 years’ experience in asset protection or related area.
• Acquisition of a current, state issued Certificate of Eligibility if applicable.
• Successful completion of criminal background check and/or firearms training if applicable.
• Attends and completes all required trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, loss prevention and asset protection in store operations.
• Hire, train and mentor associates; set clear expectations and provide feedback.
• Investigate and document incidents; gather evidence and reports as needed.
• Lead and support store security and safety programs to prevent shrink.
• Coordinate with management and external partners to implement corrective actions.
