Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Lead in Auburn, WA. You will mitigate theft and fraud in high shortage areas, engaging customers and associates with a strong, energetic greeting while promoting a safe store environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in loss prevention or store security preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create a deterrent effect by maintaining a confident presence and professional appearance.
• Assist in training Shortage Control Associates and promoting asset protection programs.
• Monitor store activities, suspicious behavior, and POS transactions; report theft indicators.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement as directed and support evidence gathering.
• Support inventory processes and shortage reduction initiatives with store leadership.
