Job summary

EZCORP is hiring an Asset Protection Manager to lead loss prevention efforts across the operations region. This role focuses on data-driven investigations, policy enforcement, and collaboration with Ops and HR to minimize losses and protect assets.

The successful candidate will design AP dashboards, manage restitution efforts, and communicate risk insights to senior management, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 5 years loss prevention/asset protection/criminal justice experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and reports Asset Protection data up, down, and across the organization as needed.
• Analysis-driven investigation production using exception reporting, key metric financials and CCTV.
• Administers and maintains databases and software for exception management, assessments, investigations, and shrink reporting.
• Communicates Asset Protection Controls and Policies.
• Performs required assessments and reports findings to Operations Management and AP Leadership.
• Mitigates internal and external threats to business initiatives.
• Designs and produces AP reports, dashboards, scorecards and exception metrics for asset loss risk visibility.
• Keeps senior management informed of data trends indicating asset loss risks.
• Uses internal/external data to judge business value of decisions and prioritize resources.
• Manages restitution efforts and claims reporting to improve recoveries.
• Reviews internal controls and adherence to policies affecting store assets.
• Conducts training and monitors cash variances to ensure resolution.
• Reduces shrinkage through cross-functional collaboration and issue follow-up.
• Investigates incidents, identifies causes, and applies lessons learned to mitigate repeats.
• Reviews exception reporting tools to identify negative trends for the company.
• Executes AP initiatives, policies, and procedures to minimize losses.
• Conducts review meetings with Regional Ops Director and District Managers on shrinkage trends.
• Identifies shrinkage vulnerabilities and develops reduction solutions.
• Reports internal deficiencies and proposes improvements to AP leadership.
• Ensures investigations are completed timely and policies followed.
• Collaborates with Ops and HR on appropriate responses to unethical activity.
• Reports and analyzes AP results and recommends process improvements to leadership.
