SpartanNash is seeking an Asset Protection Investigator to lead investigations into shrink, fraud, and policy violations within a defined region. The role includes data analysis, security system maintenance, and collaboration with external agencies to protect assets.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, strong investigative skills, and experience in retail or multi-store environments. Occasional travel, flexible hours, and training duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law Enforcement, or related field; experience accepted in lieu of degree
• Strong investigative and interview skills; ability to analyze data and statistics
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and report writing

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce Asset Protection strategies
• Conduct investigations and maintain detailed case files
• Coordinate with Internal Audit, Operations, and law enforcement as needed
• Identify shrink opportunities through data analysis and site visits
• Maintain security controls (Alarm, CCTV, Key Access) and coordinate with vendors
• Supervise and mentor AP associates within area; provide training
• Represent the company in judicial proceedings when required
• Develop and implement innovative Asset Protection programs
• Train associates to execute department initiatives
• Travel up to 70% and maintain confidential, ethical conduct
