Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. in Boston is seeking an Asset Protection professional to oversee shrink reduction and AP initiatives across multiple stores. You will partner with local management and lead safety, investigations, and audits to protect company assets.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, training staff, and coordinating CCTV surveillance and investigations related to theft and policy violations. A background in AP and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred or combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of experience in Asset Protection or relevant retail experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to evaluate circumstances and make timely decisions based on guidelines
• Ability to work nights, evenings and weekends to meet retail needs
• Must pass a comprehensive background investigation
• Must have reliable transportation
• Wicklander - Zulawski training preferred
• Must fulfill all physical requirements including standing and walking

Responsibilities

• Execute Asset Protection initiatives in assigned locations (4-8 stores) and support shortage reduction programs
• Partner with local store management to meet AP objectives
• Leverage business and sales performance to reduce shrink
• Provide store associate training on AP initiatives and safety procedures
• Conduct operational audits to assess store performance and safety compliance
• Train personnel on safety communication and crisis management protocols
• Monitor controls and investigate dishonesty and shortages
• Conduct investigations and interviews for inventory and policy violations
• Surveil using CCTV and floor techniques per policy
• Initiate investigations related to Organized Retail Crime with Zone ORC Investigator and local law enforcement
• Complete special projects as directed by Regional AP Manager
