Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Agent to help safeguard customers, employees and merchandise.

You will work with the Emergency Response Team to prepare for and respond to incidents, investigate theft, and ensure inventory accuracy while protecting company profits. Responsibilities include resolving theft, identifying trends with surveillance and RFID data, and maintaining safety standards across the store.

Qualifications

• A valid security license is required for this role in specified locations (e.g., Washington DC; Denver, Colorado; New York City, New York; St. Louis, Missouri; and Oregon).
• Ability to make decisions and be accountable for them in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve theft using judgment and conduct quality apprehensions while adhering to policy and AP guidance.
• Identify theft trends via technology, reporting and surveillance.
• Drive shrinkage reduction through action plans and merchandise protection standards.
• Investigate internal theft and support investigations with evidence and AP leadership.
