Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking an on-site Asset Protection professional in Jacksonville, FL to enforce access control, protect associates and assets, and respond to interruptions of business operations. You will maintain security records, communicate with facility management, and coordinate with security supervisors to ensure safe, compliant operations across all shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, the ability to work

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years old.
• Hold a valid driver's license.
• Possess a Class D Security Officer's License or obtain one within 90 days of hire.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining control of access to Publix facilities by associates, guests, and other non-facility personnel.
• Providing access control, routing, and shipping/receiving processing for product/equipment deliveries.
• Conducting personal observations of activities within the facility and reporting incidents or deficiencies.
• Maintaining accurate security related records and documentation.
• Communicating information to security supervisors, associates, or facility management.
