Job summary

The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies, Inc. seeks an Intern for 10-12 weeks this summer to join the Institutional Platform team.

You will engage in asset and portfolio analysis, market research, and reporting, gaining exposure to institutional investment strategies and financial markets. You will work closely with experienced professionals on data analysis, reporting, and research initiatives that support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
• Must be a junior at the time of application.
• Minimum GPA: 3.0.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial modeling and data visualization tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with asset and portfolio performance analysis, including risk and return metrics.
• Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and gather data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with team members on portfolio optimization projects and investment strategy reviews.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data used in analysis.
