Job summary

The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) seeks a visionary leader to head the Asset Performance team within the IRAP program, guiding statewide infrastructure investments and maximizing ROI through data-driven asset management.

You will direct a professional team, oversee PRM-based project selection, and publish the annual STIP, while partnering with programs, districts, and stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of progressive engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer's (PE) license required at time of hire; Wyoming PE within one year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Supervises development and implementation of asset performance strategies and procedures.
• Coordinates with WYDOT Programs on pavement and bridge condition assessments for decision making.
• Supervises Pavement Management System (PMS) and Bridge Management System (BMS) processes.
• Supports project selection and policy direction through PRM and STIP collaboration.
