Job summary

3E is seeking a Professional Services Engineer to drive end-to-end technical delivery for onboarding assets onto our Asset Performance Management SaaS platform. This hands-on role sits at the intersection of software engineering, data integration, and renewable energy operations.

You’ll grow into the technical lead who translates contracts into live deployments, building integrations, tooling, and repeatable onboarding processes while collaborating with clients and vendor partners.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python for building data pipelines and automation.
• Experience consuming and building against REST APIs.
• Strong SQL skills for querying relational databases.
• Ability to design repeatable, automated data integration solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and internal teams.
• Demonstrated ownership of complex technical problems from discovery to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end technical delivery of asset onboarding projects, from discovery to go-live.
• Build custom data collectors, transformation pipelines, mapping tools, and automation to bridge client systems with our platform.
• Write Python and API scripts to extract, transform and load data, including bulk provisioning and backfill tooling.
• Integrate with SCADA historians and OT/IoT data platforms; diagnose pipeline failures and data quality issues.
• Model assets at scale within the platform data model for various asset types.
• Manage relationships with clients and vendors, scope work and coordinate with engineering teams.
• Document onboarding runbooks, checklists, and guides to scale delivery.
• Collaborate with DataOps, product, and support to improve onboarding playbooks.
