Job summary

Enterris Associates, Inc. in Los Angeles seeks an Asset Move Project Manager II to oversee FF&E for new, renovated, and swing space projects, including budgeting, procurement, scheduling, and move oversight.

You will manage swing space scope, coordinate with A/E, IT, and facility teams, and ensure occupancy readiness across multiple sites. Strong PM, relocation, and FF&E experience are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Construction/PM, Planning, Facilities Management, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of PM/coordination experience in Move/Relocation, PM, Interior Design, Facilities Management, or FF&E procurement.
  • Ability to read architectural and furniture drawings.
  • Knowledge of furniture and equipment specs and procurement.
  • Flexibility to work at Owner site locations.
  • Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • (Preferred) Educational and Public Works experience.
  • (Preferred) FF&E sourcing or asset management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate FF&E purchasing using best-value and/or low bid public contracting.
  • Work cross-functionally to identify scope, budget, schedule, and FF&E requirements.
  • Identify swing space needs and coordinate with Owner and Project Director on scope.
  • Coordinate with the A/E team to assess relocation of existing furniture/equipment.
  • Create an FF&E budget for each project and validate at milestones.
  • Attend weekly project meetings with A/E, PMs, contractors, and BUGs to ensure FF&E alignment.
  • Review programming and construction docs to coordinate FF&E with IT/infrastructure needs.
  • Coordinate IT equipment needs with Technology PM for budget, scope, procurement, and installation.
  • Ensure FF&E and move budgets/schedules meet targets; provide value engineering as needed.
  • Coordinate all FF&E deliveries, move logistics, and punch-list sign-off.
  • Coordinate procurement of specialty contractors or movers when needed.
  • Coordinate asset tagging and disposition of surplus FF&E with Asset Management.
  • Maintain all move-related documents and provide status reports to PM leadership.

Title: Asset Move Project Manager II (Relocation PM)
Position Description

This position will be responsible for the management of required Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) for all new, renovated, and swing space projects, including programming, specification, drawing review, budget tracking, procurement coordination, scheduling with the construction team, installation, and punch list activities. It also involves move management for all projects including move scope creation, bidding, analysis of bids, budget tracking, move coordination and scheduling, onsite move oversight, and punch list activities to ensure complete functional occupancy of new and renovated buildings. Services will be provided at the direction of the Owner's Project Director and the Manager of Relocation Project Management team.

Essential Job Duties
  • Coordinate with Procurement to manage the purchasing of all FF&E using best-value and/or low bid public contracting.
  • Work cross functionally to identify project scope, budget, schedule, and FF&E requirements; tour facilities to gain detailed knowledge of the Master Plan for all new and renovated buildings and the sequencing of projects.
  • Identify potential swing space needed and coordinate with the Owner to secure space and remove space from availability per project schedule; work with the Project Director to develop scope of work for any construction or FF&E required for swing space.
  • Coordinate with the A/E team and/or facility personnel to assess and identify whether existing furniture and equipment will be relocated and reused.
  • Create an FF&E Budget for each project and provide budget validation at key project milestones.
  • Attend weekly project meetings with the project team, including Project Architects (A/E), Project Managers, contractors, and BUGs, to ensure accurate FF&E specification, furniture layouts, and FF&E lists of both new and reused furniture.
  • Review all programming, design, and construction documents and work with the A/E to ensure electrical/data/infrastructure/utility requirements and anchoring details are coordinated among FF&E vendors; work with the BUG to plan relocation of existing furniture and equipment to the new location.
  • Coordinate IT equipment needs with the Technology Project Manager for budget, scope, procurement, and installation; identify locations of computers, MFDs, and printers on a plan.
  • Work closely with the Project Director and project team to ensure project FF&E and move budget and schedule are met, providing value engineering efforts as needed to stay within allotted budget.
  • Coordinate scheduling logistics to ensure timely and successful FF&E delivery, installation, and punch-list sign-off and transition during swing space, relocation, and/or move-in projects.
  • Coordinate procurement of specialty contractors or movers for delivery, installation, and/or connections not covered by FF&E vendors.
  • Coordinate all FF&E deliveries, path of travel, and parking with PMs, Project Directors, contractors, Facility Directors, security, and BUGs as applicable; work with the Asset Management Team to coordinate asset tagging of new FF&E and disposition of surplus FF&E prior to demolition/renovation.
  • Arrange for unlocking and re-securing of all areas requiring access by furniture installers and movers during Pre-Move, Move, Installation, and Post Move/Close-Out phases.
  • Coordinate the transfer of FF&E keys and keying plans to facilities upon occupancy.
  • Maintain all FF&E, move management, moving, and storage related documents, including proposals, purchase orders, packing slips, timecards, shipping documents, freight bills, and invoices, and submit to the Project Director in written form.
  • Coordinate project close-out efforts for the FF&E and move services portion of the project.
  • Provide project status reports and other information as requested to the Manager of Relocation Project Management team.
Professional Experience Level/Other Quali cations
  • A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Construction/Project Management, Planning, Facilities Management, or a related field is required.
  • 7-10 years of project management and coordination experience in Move/Relocation Management, Project Management, Interior Design, Facilities Management, or Coordination/Procurement of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment. In lieu of a four-year degree, 11-14 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Ability to read architectural and furniture drawings.
  • Knowledge of furniture and equipment specifications and procurement.
  • Flexibility to work at any of the Owner's site locations.
  • Strong written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • (Preferred) Educational and Public Works experience.
  • (Preferred) Procurement, FF&E sourcing, or asset management experience.
Education/Training/Certificates
  • Four-year college degree from an accredited college or university (see Professional Experience section for accepted fields and experience-in-lieu-of-degree provisions).
  • (Preferred) Interior Design Certification (CID, CCIDQ).
  • (Preferred) Membership with IIDA, AIA, or IFMA; LEED Certification.
Hardware/Software Knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam software.
  • (Preferred) Knowledge/proficiency in AutoCAD software.
  • (Preferred) Proficiency in Visio or other design software.
Compensation
  • This role is salaried/exempt with a base annual salary range of $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 and commensurate with skill, education, experience, and work location.
  • This role is bonus eligible after 6 months of employment.
