Adara Communities, a family-owned real estate firm, seeks an experienced Asset Manager to support the Asset Management Department with finance, budgeting, analytics, and reporting for a multi-family portfolio.

This full-time in-office role in Houston requires 3+ years in asset management, strong Excel skills, and the ability to travel to properties. You will drive strategic plans, analyze performance metrics, and prepare leadership reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years' experience in asset management within a multi-living property management company.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including building models, macros, and data analysis.
• Self-starter able to work effectively in a small team and contribute beyond direct responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for assigned properties, driving revenue growth, expense control, and capital expenditure planning.
• Partner with regional directors and property management teams to ensure on-site operations adhere to policies and brand standards.
• Analyze financial performance metrics including occupancy, rental income, operating expenses, and capex trends.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership with key findings and recommendations.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for portfolio expansion.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure cost-effective services.
• Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
• Regular travel to on-site properties is required; travel volume may change with acquisitions.
