Job summary

Arcan Capital is seeking a mid-level Asset Manager to join our Atlanta-based team. You will oversee a multi-state multifamily portfolio, work with property management, accounting, and leadership to protect and grow portfolio performance.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in asset management or related real estate, with strong financial skills, Excel proficiency, and a collaborative ownership mindset. Some travel to GA/AL/FL/SC/NC properties is expected.

Qualifications

3–5 years of asset management or related real estate experience.
Strong financial acumen with P&L, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to travel periodically to properties across markets.

Responsibilities

Monitor financial/operational performance of assigned multifamily assets across markets.
Collaborate with property management to drive revenue, occupancy, and retention.
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual performance reports and investor summaries.
Support budgeting and capital expenditure planning for properties.
Conduct site visits and market surveys to assess conditions and trends.
Assist with due diligence and underwriting for acquisitions.
Monitor covenants and ownership-level compliance with internal teams.
Identify value-add opportunities and drive operational improvements.
Present portfolio performance and recommendations to senior leadership.
