Job summary

ARCAN CAPITAL, LLC is seeking a mid-level Asset Manager to join our Atlanta headquarters and oversee a multi-state multifamily portfolio. You will work closely with property management, accounting, and senior leadership to protect and grow portfolio performance.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in asset management or related real estate, with strong financial acumen and willingness to travel periodically across GA, AL, FL, SC, NC.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of asset management or related real estate experience.
• Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business, or related field.
• Strong financial acumen with P&L, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel; Yardi or comparable platform a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel periodically to properties across multiple markets.
• Collaborative, ownership-minded approach in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor financial and operational performance of an assigned portfolio across markets.
• Partner with property management to drive revenue, occupancy, and resident retention.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual asset performance reports and explanations.
• Support annual budgeting and capex planning for properties.
• Conduct site visits and market surveys to assess condition and trends.
• Assist with due diligence, underwriting support, and acquisitions integration.
• Monitor loan covenants and insurance requirements with internal teams.
• Identify value-add opportunities and drive operational improvements.
• Present portfolio performance and recommendations to senior leadership.
