Job summary

Alexander Chapman Ltd seeks an Asset Manager to oversee directly owned multifamily and build-to-rent assets in Philadelphia. You will work with investment and operating teams to implement asset-level business plans and create value across a growing portfolio.

The role requires 2+ years in real estate asset management, direct ownership experience preferred, and strong analytical and financial modeling skills to monitor performance, budgets, valuations and returns.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in real estate asset management or investments.
• Direct ownership experience strongly preferred.
• Multifamily experience required; build-to-rent / single-family rental experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of property-level financial performance and real estate investment fundamentals.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to work across investment, operations and asset-level initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance and strategy of a portfolio of multifamily and build-to-rent assets
• Develop and execute asset-level business plans and value-creation strategies
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, valuations and investment returns
• Work closely with internal teams, operating partners and third-party stakeholders
• Evaluate opportunities to improve asset performance and maximize value
• Support acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing and other portfolio initiatives
• Prepare portfolio reporting and analysis for senior leadership
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to support investment decisions
