A key Optimus client, a renewable energy company specializing in asset management, optimization, and advisory services across wind, solar, and storage projects, is seeking a Renewable Energy Associate Asset Manager.

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the clean energy transition by managing assets and optimizing performance in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Maximize the value of renewable assets across wind, solar, and storage
• Manage relationships with O&M providers, off-takers, lenders, and landowners
• Oversee contracts including PPAs, insurance, credit, and compliance
• Ensure compliance with ISO/FERC/NERC regulations with support from legal and compliance teams
• Support onboarding of new projects and due diligence for M&A activities
• Manage energy settlements, market risks, and regulatory reporting

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in renewable energy, asset management, or power markets
• Experience with PPAs, REC management, and energy settlements
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management abilities
• Familiarity with NERC, FERC, ISO rules, with a curiosity to learn more
• Bonus: PMP, CFA, CEM certifications, or experience with financial/asset modeling tools
